The spray booth is the setting where the vehicle's visual quality is achieved. Changhong booths utilise precision atomisation, trajectory, and environmental regulation to apply primer and topcoat to the body, creating a uniform film that enhances aesthetics, weather resistance, and corrosion protection. The spray booth can support robotic spraying and manual touch-up, with configurations available for mixed-model operation.

Working Principle
  • Airflow: Laminar supply air, whether from above or the side, undergoes multi-stage filtration and maintains consistent temperature and humidity, regulated at 0.3 to 0.7 m/s. The airflow remains untainted and consistent, removing paint mist without disrupting the wet coating.
  • Mist Capture: Dry booths utilise carton and cartridge filters to mechanically capture overspray, are easy to maintain, and are appropriate for smaller production runs. Wet booths employ venturi or water-rotary mechanisms to effectively wash mist into removable sludge, demonstrating excellent efficiency and suitability for large-scale automotive manufacturing.
  • Exhaust and VOC: Exhaust fan system maintains negative pressure to prevent paint mist and VOC-laden air from escaping. Air contaminated with VOCs is processed using activated-carbon adsorption or RTO incineration to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Safety: Explosion-resistant electrical systems, automated fire suppression mechanisms, homogeneous lighting, and micro-pressure regulation ensure dust exclusion, exhaust containment, and operational safety.
  • Booth Range: Dry booth (carton and cartridge filtration), carton-filter trolley, wet venturi and water-rotary booth, along with paint-mist collection zone.
